Some of the best high school boys basketball players are leaving Michigan, and the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s rule book may be a big reason why. Nearly a dozen of the state’s top players opted to transfer out of state last year, including four-star guard Mark “Rocket” Watts, a Michigan State signee who left Old Redford for SPIRE Academy in Ohio.
